In this report there has been identified three levels of GAP on the key factors for success in an e-Commerce in the furniture industry. The first level is related to the idiosyncrasy of this sector, practices aimed to risk reduction and generating trustiness environments. The second level is related to key practices, also linked to this kind of products, that are necessary to facilitate the process of search and product selection. Finally, the last level is related to practices expected in any kind of e-Commerce, regardless the sector, the no use of these generates a failure of an e-Commerce project. The report also contains a set of conclusions that e-tailers should take into account to minimize the uncertainty experienced by online consumers with focus on the ones related to the two first levels (Activity: O1/1). |
