BOSS4SME gets feedback from over 50 furniture SMEs

During the second activity of the BOSS4SME project, ‘Needs Validation Phase’, over 50 furniture SMEs have been consulted in the four partner countries (Spain, Poland, Greece and Italy). SMEs consulted already sell their products across Europe on the Internet and have been personally consulted to know their online sales-related needs with the aim to improve their e-commerce skills.
Firstly, skills needs were identified in accordance of the ecommerce websites analysis carried out during the previous activity and ESCO (European Skills/Competences, Qualifications and Occupations) and O*NET (Occupational Information Network) databases.

A questionnaire was distributed through different SMEs to validate the identified skill needs and to know their opinion about the knowledge and information that they would like to have to further foster e-commerce in their companies. Results of all questionnaires will be analyzed in a following step.

Thus, the BOSS4SME project ensures the utility of the training content and the final tool that will be developed, strengthening the aim of the BOSS4SME Consortium of create an interesting project for the furniture sector.
